“Am I going crazy that the IRS hasn’t paid out an ERC from last summer?” No you’re not, they just are not processing claims. Back during last summer, wait times were typically 3-4 months. Sometime in the middle of the summer that began to slow, and stop unofficially before 9/14, with a full official stop at 9/14 for “new” claims. From numbers from TAS and some commentary from Werfel, new processing has been a drop in the bucket, so effectively no processing for existing claims. In reality, they basically just stopped processing everyone and so now there’s a backlog of over 1.5 Million returns. Things I’m wondering about this: 1️⃣ Many of these fillers waited, does that mean they were more likely pulled in by the marketing companies (who had gotten payouts from previous claims to dump into ad spend?) or filers who just waited for clarified guidance? 2️⃣ Is there any indication of recourse for taxpayers waiting or a “We’ll start again in late spring” as much as we can expect? (Though 8% interest isn’t bad!) So no, you’re not going crazy. 📞 Maybe it’s about time to contact your legislator⬇️ https://lnkd.in/gEcNvP_G #erc #employeeretentioncredit #taxcredit #irs

CSIR updated their prediction at 51.5% of VD's declared: ANC 40.5%, DA 21.7%, MK 14.6%, EFF 9.4%. National turnout is projected to be 57-58% (so only ~16.2m voters). KZN turnout we are projecting to be 62%. This is why KZN, and MK impact there is hitting particularly hard in the national numbers. Huge impact. If we zoom out of this election, it is interesting to see that the ANC and their splinter parties (who caters for the left) are receiving 2.5m less votes than 15 years ago. The remaining parties have grown their support by 1.7m over this period. We have 28m grant recipients and 7m tax payers...people want a better future and are willing to work for it (see photo in comments). We need to grow the pie together.

Amidst swirling discussions, it's important to get a balanced perspective. This bill aims at PBM reform, not a tax package. However, concerns about state-level legislation persist. Many large employers prefer federal legislation to ensure consistency and uphold ERISA standards. Stay informed! #JoinAEHC2024 https://lnkd.in/extD9JTV

I don’t believe the very concept of taxation is theft. But having differing tax RATES is unethical & an irresistible magnet for corruption. Besides, the Talmud endorsed flat taxes centuries ago. Listen:
