Could 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (<𝟏𝟎𝟎%𝐑𝐌) be combined with 𝐕𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐕𝐁𝐓)? In the first part of the video Antonio was training around his 80% of 1RM with a focus on T.U.T. of 3-1-x In the second part of the video he was training at the same load but one rep more one week later As you can see, the velocity didn’t drop significantly meaning that he’s improving both his concentric and eccentric force leading for better adaptations in sport So they can be used together but just for a training monitoring Let me know what you think about, comment 👇 #sportscience
