Many of us have been using AI for over a year now. We've seen countless insights on prompting and advice on which AI tools to use for various purposes. I’m a bit different from the AI influencers out there. I don't rely 100% on Gen AI, and I don't have a collection of 100 prompting guides. Instead, I continuously explore different AI tools, appreciating what they can do for me rather than focusing on their limitations. After all, I still believe in the power of human ingenuity. With the help of GPT-4, my best thinking partner, we co-developed this slide - the Impact of AI and Human Collaboration. ✨Primary influencers on the future of Generative AI for professional services (Legal & Tax) 💡 Some interesting insights - Technology companies were identified as the #1 influencer by more than two thirds of the respondents - Corporations were identified as influencers by more than half of the respondents - Influence of association or advocacy groups is fairly lower in the order (about 15% of respondents) - Almost one-third of the respondents also consider government/regulators as influencers - this is likely due to regulatory powers they have - Legal and tax firms as influencers (by 35% of respondents) - one would expect this to be higher 👁My hypothesis is that this will likely change in coming years as more industry practitioners understand and have first-hand experience of Generative AI within their own workflows. #AnOdeToAI ~~~~ I just spent a minute scanning another article on LinkedIn ... that looked entirely AI generated! What a waste of time! It certainly felt a waste of my time (reading words summarised by a computer?) it was apparently a waste of the authors time: as they appeared hardly involved (and it probably didnt do much to position them as an expert in anything other than AI ... which is just "a great cover band" - such a great quote from Jimmy Carr) So how does one stand out as the expert you want to be against an AI backdrop of "noise"? Perhaps share a story with a lesson relevant to your audience? Not just any story: rather one of your stories - because only you can share your story with your perspective (and your lessons) which probably has the highest chance of positioning you as an expert to your specific audience with their specific challenge in a world increasingly drowned out by AI supported experts ... AI#095 (Side note: as we have AI generated influencers why shouldn't we have AI supported experts ... in the not too distant future, perhaps we will just leave all the Bots to talk amongst themselves ... and leave us to our own People Platform: which may just be the last domain of live human conversation: just imagine the novelty of that!)
