This week we are throwing it back to the launch of our Player Age Verification product! 🚀 As we reflect on Safer Gambling Week, it’s the perfect time to revisit how crucial player age verification is for ensuring a responsible gaming environment in the booming US esports market. Our Head of B2B, Oliver N. shared insights from our 2021 whitepaper, where we revealed that the average age of a professional esports player is just under 24, challenging misconceptions around underage players. With regulations constantly shifting, our player age verification tool provides operators with a reliable solution to stay compliant and protect players. 🛡️ At PandaScore, we’ve been champions of accurate age verification since 2017, and we’re proud to offer a product that simplifies compliance across jurisdictions. ✅🌍 Learn more about how we’re making player safety a priority: https://lnkd.in/e95D_cQt #Esports #PlayerAgeVerification #Pandascore #ResponsibleGaming

As we head into summer, it's fascinating to look back at the major trends on Twitch from last spring. Here are the fastest-growing video games on Twitch for Spring 2024, compared to the winter months: 🔹 Valorant and Counter-Strike, two FPS titles, experienced significant growth, with over 63 million and 46 million watched hours respectively. This increase was largely driven by esports tournaments such as two VCT Masters and the PGL Major Copenhagen. 🔹 Elden Ring ranked third with a 26 million increase in HW. In particular, streamer Kai Cenat contributed to this result with a 100-hour streaming marathon. 🔹 The casual indie game Supermarket Simulator went viral, attracting over 21 million HW from many top Twitch streamers. 🔹 The next two positions were secured by other esports titles: R6 and Dota 2, which each attracted over 19 million and 17.7 million hours of watch time, respectively. #esports #Twitch #livestreaming #viewership #gamingtrends #videogames

Are VIPs getting younger? Let's see what surveys show. Traditionally, VIP players are seen as more engaged with classic casino offerings like live casino games or poker. However, recent data suggests a change might be on the horizon: According to an Abios survey, 20% of the eSports audience comprises Generation X (ages 42–56). While this may not seem like a dominant segment, it is significant regarding this age group. Moreover, Esport Insider reports that the average age of esports fans is 33 years old, slightly younger than the average gamer's age of 41. Interestingly, this average age increases by 0.7 years annually. We also need to keep in mind that audiences younger than 33 are more inclined towards new digital experiences. Nevertheless, we could soon see a rise in VIPs interested in emerging content types such as esports and instant games. Are you preparing your business for this? #turbostars #turboplatform #turbogames #turbosportsbook #igamingsolutions #instantgames
