Direct questions and statements are powerful when assessing the intent of others. Did they buy it? Did they trade for it? Better than what? I don't need nothing from you Don't fall for the okey doke of someone offering you easier or better, oftentimes what folks claim they're doing for you is doing more for themselves. While this applies to many circumstances, as we go deep into the politicizing that will impact us all this summer...remember that they wouldn't be soliciting it if your vote wasn't powerful! #LeadershipLegacy #FamilyFirst Leadership Legacy Consulting, LLC

Meet Field Marshal Fedor von Bock, a very unpleasant person. Insubordinate to his superiors. Envious of his peers. Contemptuous and unreasonable to his subordinates. He's one of my #AwkwardStakeholders that I'm going to use as a difficult to work with example: The unpleasant shouty nasty stakeholder. Meet Bock and similar people you'd never want to be in a team with for breakfast at the next #NottsTechfast (Wed 17 April, 7.30am). Bush up on how to deal with difficult stakeholders. Share your own horror stories. And feel better about yourself when you struggle with trying to work with not nice people.

The European imperialists divided the lands in the territories they targeted for exploitation, primarily to avoid clashing among themselves, without regard to the indigenous peoples who lived in those areas. This division was rooted in a belief in white supremacy and the idea that indigenous peoples were inferior, as enshrined in the "Racial Contract" (Charles Mills, 1997). This contract perpetuated the notion that white people were superior and had a divine right to dominate and exploit non-white peoples and their resources. The Racial Contract was a tacit agreement among white people to maintain power and privilege over non-white people, and it underpinned the principles of Terra Nullius (land belonging to no one) and Trusteeship, which were used to justify colonialism. These ideas led to the creation of artificial states, displacement, and exploitation of resources, resulting in political conquest and colonies. It cannot be said that Africans, in particular, can be treated as second-class citizens in Africa indefinitely. No! It is essential to acknowledge the historical injustices and ongoing impacts of colonialism, recognize the rights and dignity of indigenous peoples and African nations, and work towards a more just and equitable future, where the Racial Contract is dismantled, and equality and self-determination are realized.
