We cannot emphasise enough how important AOV (Average Order Value) is for you eCommerce store. Why? The higher your AOV, the more revenue you generate per customer visit. This helps offset the ever-increasing CPA (Customer Acquisition Cost) across paid media platforms. Simply put, a higher AOV makes each new customer more profitable. And the more profit you generate, the more you can reinvest back into your business and continue to grow. So, how do you increase your AOV? 1. Cross-selling Uber Eats do ithis best. You can hardly complete an order without adding more 'frequently bought together' items. 2. Up-selling You likely offer a range of products—some more premium than others. Suggest a premium product during checkout. You’d be surprised how little convincing people need when they’re already in ‘buying mode’. 3. Bundles Bundle related products together. For example, if you’re selling beanies, why not offer a bundled set with a scarf and gloves while offering 10% off? It’s practical and increases your AOV. Increasing AOV while maintaining your CPA leads directly to revenue growth. When was the last time you thought about AOV? (Before today, of course)

We're very excited to have BOLDKING live on the Firmhouse platform! 🎉 Everybody has brands that inspire them. Brands that set the bar. BOLDKING has always been one of these brands for us in commerce subscriptions. At Firmhouse, we always called them 'the OG of European commerce subscriptions.' BOLDKING served as our inspiration for how commerce can be genuinely customer-centric. Last year, our partner, Ask Phill, phoned us to ask if we're open to chatting with Boldking, who was considering re-platforming to Shopify and researching options to find a subscription platform to replace their in-house subscription systems. Fast forward a few months, and BOLDKING is now live and fully migrated with a custom setup on Firmhouse, combined with the great platforms of Shopify and Adyen. In Firmhouse, we developed advanced support for multi-currency and multi-payment processor logic that facilitated the seamless transition of all recurring payments without complex changes to the Adyen accounts.
