You might say, “Because someone bumped into me!“ But the right answer is: You spilled 𝔠𝔬𝔣𝔣𝔢𝔢 because 𝔠𝔬𝔣𝔣𝔢𝔢 was in your cup. Had there been 𝔱𝔢𝔞 in your cup, you would have spilled 𝔱𝔢𝔞.
