3 simple hires that allowed me to cut my time in the ops by 50% (And get back over 120+ hours every week) 👇 1️⃣ Operations & Executive Assistant To handle all the day-to-day fires and the team... And allow me to focus on growth instead. 2️⃣ Personal Assistant Which handles 90% of my personal errands... So I can focus ON my business... Instead of wasting time on things that don't help me scale. 3️⃣ Housekeeper Which does all the cleaning, grocery shopping, and cooking every week... So I can forget about that and focus 100% on my business. And the best part? They're super simple to find and hire. 👇 I even have step-by-step SOPs to hire each of these roles... All with DFY templates for job posts and instructions for each position... So if you want them... Just comment "SOP" and I'll send them to you! - Kilian

What was your hardest or most intense job? For me, that's a hard one to answer, because I had a lot of them! Early in my career I was a church night janitor, worked in fast food, and also worked the night shift in a sweatshop job. And, I learned incredibly valuable things in all of those jobs. They certainly help me appreciate even the most challenging days today in corporate America. So, what were some of your tough jobs? Comment below! (Pic of my son training himself as he starts his own pressure washing business.) #hardestjob #toughestwork #poll #proofofwork

###Too "Old" at 65? Time to Try New Career Paths!### Since 65 apparently makes me obsolete in today’s job market, here’s my exciting new career wishlist: Driver: After driving growth for years, surely a car’s simpler than a company. Chef: I’ve been cooking up business strategies for decades—how hard can toast be? Cleaner: I’ve cleaned up corporate disasters, but I guess now I’ll stick to mops and brooms. Receptionist: I’ve run boardrooms, so answering phones should be a breeze, right? Dog Walker: I’ve led executive teams, so walking a few dogs should be… easier, I think? Apparently, my vast experience belongs in the past—anyone hiring for these super qualified roles? #stais #NewCareer #AgeIsJustANumber #StillGotIt #ExperienceMatters #JobSearch #LifeAt65 #HireMe

Being Organized Goes Beyond Just Work Plans Staying organized isn’t just about planning tasks—it’s about the little things that set the tone for success. Keeping your workspace tidy, the restroom clean, and your desk neat not only helps you feel in control but also shows respect for your environment and colleagues. Starting your day with everything in order, and wrapping it up the same way, reduces stress and boosts productivity. Organization is a habit that, when practiced consistently, transforms how we work and live. It’s not just about what you accomplish—it’s about creating a space that fuels your best self. Good Morning and Happy Monday. It's 9:53 am ET and it's the start to our formal work week. I was working over the weekend. I enjoyed being under the covers, eating Twizzlers, and getting ahead on my communications. I am sure many of you were working over the weekend too. However, I did not expect anyone to respond. Why? I added a line on my email right above my privacy notice (see below) and I speak to this to my clients and candidates. It's important. We speak of mental health and needing a break from work. Do what is best for you. But communicate your needs to your network. If you want to email on weekends, good on you. But make sure that you are not imposing expectations on others to respond. Credit to someone on LinkedIn. WELL BEING NOTICE: Receiving this email outside of normal working hours? Managing work and life responsibilities is unique for everyone. I have sent this email at a time that works for me. Please respond at a time that works for you. Resilience, Caring, and Integrity: The Heartbeat of Tulmar Safety Systems. These aren’t just our company’s core values—they’re the values that have shaped my own journey, long before I ever joined the team at Tulmar. I still remember the day I stepped off the plane, a student in a brand-new country with nothing but a suitcase and a dream. It was a leap of faith, leaving behind everything familiar to chase opportunities on the other side of the world. Excitement was mixed with a healthy dose of fear. How would I navigate this new life, far from the comfort of home? Resilience became my daily companion. It wasn’t just about enduring; it was about thriving in the face of uncertainty. Each new challenge—learning a new language, finding my way in a foreign city, making connections—was an opportunity to grow stronger and more determined. Caring showed up in unexpected ways. Whether it was the kindness of strangers who became friends or the support I found from those back home, I realized that caring isn’t just about empathy; it’s about building a community, even when you’re far from everything you’ve ever known. And integrity? It was my guiding star. In a new world, it was tempting to stray from my principles, but I held on to the values that were instilled in me from a young age. I learned that true integrity means staying true to yourself, even when no one is watching. Now, as part of the HR team at Tulmar Safety Systems, I bring these lessons with me every day. When I meet potential candidates, I’m not just looking for skills on a resume. I’m looking for the resilience to bounce back from setbacks, the care to build meaningful connections, and the integrity to do what’s right, even when it’s hard. If your story aligns with these values, let’s connect. I’d love to hear how your journey has shaped you and how we can build something great together at Tulmar. #Recruiting #CoreValues #HR #Hiring #Culture

Big news...we’re hiring! 🙌🏼 Well, technically, Restored’s parent company is hiring, but the role will have a monumental impact on Restored, and I can’t even tell you how fun this team is! 💻 Work from home. 🕐 Flexible hours. ☕️ Monthly coffee steipend. If that piques your interest, we’re searching for an extremely organized and detail-oriented person to take on the role of executive assistant, which will include lots of event planning. This person will support me (hi, I’m Stephanie) across both the PR business and Restored. Full disclaimer: My last assistant claims my work style is similar to that of a feral cat, and she’s not wrong. 😜 We’ve got an entire blog post dedicated to the details, including what my kids said about who I should hire. Check it out, and let us know if you or someone you know may be interested!
