TASK 54-51-41-000-001-A Removal of the Spigot Ball Joint first we have to remove the fire extinguisher bottles disconnect bonding leads that are installed on the pylon box at RIB5 Remove the eight bolts and nuts from the retaining plate. Install the plate with the two studs and nuts. Install the two half shells between the wing and the upper panel, onto the spigot. Install the actuator mount , the six threaded rods. Install the actuating cylinder. Pressurize the actuating cylinder to release the ball joint by 2 mm. #Airbus #A320 #aviation

Engine out on a Socata TB-20! After a propeller strike incident the engine needs to be completely disassembled from the airframe to be sent for a shock test and overhaul. Engine shock testing after a propeller strike involves inspecting and testing the engine to assess damage and ensure it remains airworthy. This process typically includes evaluating internal components for stress or cracks, checking for misalignment, and conducting operational tests to confirm performance and safety. In a Lycoming IO-540-C4D5D powerplant, any load experienced by the propeller in a strike will be felt directly by the camshaft as the two are directly connected, known as direct drive. The Lycoming IO-540-C4D5D is a six-cylinder, horizontally opposed, air-cooled aircraft engine known for its reliability and can produce a modest 260 hp.
