Friends and Partners, This autumn, we embarked on a new and ambitious journey by launching the FAST application 1+1 Worldwide, along with the FAST channels 1+1 News and 1+1 Travel. This project is both technically challenging and not yet fully predictable for us, but we deeply believe in its potential and purpose. Every initiative I work on is close to my heart, but this one feels especially personal. 1+1 Worldwide is a creation born and nurtured under extraordinarily difficult circumstances, made possible only thanks to the bravery and sacrifices of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This post is dedicated to our defenders, with immense gratitude and respect for their resilience. On this meaningful day for Ukraine, 1+1 Worldwide and 1+1 News proudly present a powerful documentary by our colleague, journalist Ivan Sekach, titled “Freedom or Death.” Since the full-scale invasion began, Ivan has been serving on the front lines with the 110th Mechanized Brigade. The film captures the raw realities of war—resilience and fatigue, victories and losses, life and death. It tells the deeply human stories of ordinary Ukrainian men who stepped forward to defend their families, their children, and their homeland at any cost. It is of the utmost importance that the world stops being bombarded by Putin's propaganda machine. This 1+1 effort is commendable and requires support from all angles and specialties. The war criminal will not stop until he returns to the borders of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union, trampling on as many heads as he feels he must trample. And if the media does not dedicate the necessary space and time for the world to learn about this war from all angles, they will be doing him a huge favor. God bless Ukraine.
