This morning, BT Group announced a revision to its timetable for moving all customers – business and consumer – off the PSTN and onto digital networks. The extension to January 2027 follows an industry wide pause and the introduction of the government’s charter to protect vulnerable customers. Despite this we are urging all our business customers, large and small, to act now and move over to all digital networks. Business customers should review their technology footprint and identify what’s still connected to the PSTN. Our team of experts is on hand to support, and any business can test their equipment for free at our R&D centre at Adastral Park. Where necessary, they should then proceed to switch any outdated equipment to an All-IP alternative at the earliest opportunity.
