A 37% reduction in debilitating stress by applying our strengths at work seems justification enough and what’s more the drive to apply our strengths comes from within. I have just completed my MSc in Personal & Management Coaching in University College Cork conducting research on the impact of coaching in the workplace on the mental health and wellbeing of employees and the results suggest that there is a dual benefit to coaching for performance/organisational or talent development. The research finding suggest that such programmes can not only improve performance but also the mental health aspect of wellbeing. Great to see Gallup bringing employee wellbeing’s benefits to productivity and quality to the fore !
