Recruitment professionals, go and read my latest blog post—you won’t regret it. On another note… 👇 Those of you who know me well understand how much I value health and fitness. Recently, with more tasks than ever in my personal life (recruitment & launching my platform), I’ve found myself living out of my local Sainsbury’s, and I just can’t face another trip there 🤦♂️ 💰 So, last night, I created an AI Assistant that sends me an updated shopping list every Friday morning, based on how many days of food I need. It then schedules my exact meal plan into my google calendar for the following week. Now, I simply take that shopping list, order everything online first thing on Friday, have it delivered on Sunday, and then follow the meal plan for the upcoming week. The meals are based on my favourite foods—either pre-prepped or taking less than 20 minutes to cook—and are designed to help me reach my calorie surplus to build muscle. Why not start delegating with AI? (I used Zapier Central to create this, the tool I talk about in my blog post) Follow my page below to stay up to date with the latest developments in Gen AI and automation within 🚨 Recruitment 🚨

What happens when a potential client asks ChatGPT for recommendations about Filipino Virtual Assistant recruitment companies? 🤖 Today, I had a fascinating discovery call with a business owner looking to hire 2 virtual assistants from the Philippines. They run a marketing company specializing in service businesses in the US market. They needed VAs who could promptly respond to new leads, manage client communications, and follow up with existing customers - including re-engagement calls with unconverted leads. The conversation was genuinely engaging, and I was impressed by the client's insights and professional approach. Toward the end of our call, curiosity got the better of me, and I asked how they found us. They mentioned our website, so I probed further: "Did you search for our brand name specifically, or did you use a generic term like 'virtual assistant'?" The client smiled and said, "Want to hear something interesting? I asked ChatGPT about Filipino VA recruitment companies, and it recommended you!" Wow, that was a first! 😄 This moment was special for several reasons: It shows our reputation as a leading company in the field is strong enough to be recognized by AI systems 🚀 It demonstrates the reliability of ChatGPT's recommendations - it successfully identified quality companies in our space 💪 It proves our digital presence is working - the information about us online accurately reflects who we are and what we do 📱 Bottom line? The world is changing. Today, clients find us in new and surprising ways. But one thing remains constant: our commitment to excellence and quality service. That's why we get recommendations - whether from satisfied clients or the world's most advanced AI 😊 P.S. Right after the call, I couldn't resist trying it myself - see the screenshot!

A conversation with ChatGPT... not quiet a conversation with Steven Bartlett but interesting all the same😉 Anyone with a pulse working in the recruitment sector will know and feel it's both challenging and changing. Change and uncertainty stirs up all sorts of emotions; fear of the unknown and the clinging on to 'safe' and old practices that have served us well 🛑. And then there's the power forward bridgeable; those who want to reach the summit first but could take a wrong turn as they thrive on forward motion, this camp tends to 'work stuff out' along the way ➡ I was going to write an article on the changing landscape of recruitment but I asked my friend 'Chatty' instead, and 'It' (Chatty's preferred pronoun) was surprisingly on point, so rather than take credit for 'Its' work I thought I'd share... 'The traditional time and material labor model, where workers are paid based on the time spent and materials used, may be gradually replaced or supplemented by alternative labor models as technology, business practices, and workforce dynamics evolve. Here are some potential replacements or alternatives: 1. Outcome-Based Pricing: In this model, payment is tied to the outcomes or results delivered rather than the time spent or materials used. It incentivizes efficiency and performance, as contractors are motivated to deliver quality results within a specified timeframe. 2. Subscription-Based Services: This model provides predictability in costs for customers and steady revenue streams for service providers. 3. Value-Based Pricing: Value-based pricing focuses on the perceived value of the service or product to the customer rather than the cost of production. Service providers can charge based on the value delivered to the customer, aligning pricing with the benefits received. 4. Project-Based Contracts: This allows for clearer expectations around scope, deliverables, and costs, providing transparency and reducing the risk of budget overruns. 5. Crowdsourcing and Gig Economy Platforms: . Workers are often paid based on completed tasks or projects rather than hourly rates. 6.Performance-Based Contracts: This model aligns incentives between service providers and clients, encouraging accountability and results-driven outcomes. 7. Collaborative Workspaces and Co-Creation 8. Artificial Intelligence and Automation 9. Subscription-Based Labor Platforms While these alternatives may not entirely replace the time and material labor model in every context, they offer diverse options for companies and workers to collaborate, innovate, and create value in the evolving labor market landscape' - Is it time to rethink your recruitment model? Thoughts ⬇

"As a human writing this rather than ChatGPT, it’s that weaving in of a personal touch, a non-robotic response to both people and the process; the gaps between the hard-drawn lines that are at stake here. Relying too heavily on the ‘machines’ may mean those gems are lost in the system, the ones that don’t quite make the grade but are brilliant nonetheless, we all know of them, many of them head up our best businesses today. Would they have survived the AI-recruitment haul?" See my feature on ChatGPT and its uses in recruitment. #AIrecruitment #ChatGPT #peoplemanagement

James Caan CBE Sorry to report back that your Chatgpt version is better than you ;-) you can now take that long pending vacation, while your Chatgpt version will fill in for you. I asked you this question and your answer was the consultant's favorite "Depends......", here is what your chatgpt version had to offer... My question.... James, Wish to pick your brain on something.... 360 recruitment model is great but I feel it has also become the biggest threat and bottleneck to scale....your thoughts plz? So from a scaling perspective which one would you recommend? James ChatGPT...... From a scaling perspective, shifting away from the 360-degree recruitment model to a 180-degree model is generally more effective. Here’s why: Benefits of the 180-Degree Model for Scaling 1. Specialisation and Efficiency Role Focus: By separating the roles, recruiters can focus on sourcing and placing candidates while BD professionals concentrate on acquiring and managing client relationships. This specialisation increases efficiency and effectiveness in each role. Skill Utilisation: Each team member can leverage their specific skills more effectively. Those who excel in sales can thrive in BD, while those with strong networking and assessment skills can focus on recruitment. 2. Scalability Team Growth: It's easier to scale each function independently. You can hire more BD professionals as you expand your client base and more recruiters as you get more roles to fill. Capacity Management: This model allows you to better manage workloads and ensure that neither BD nor recruitment gets neglected. 3. Clear Metrics and Accountability Performance Tracking: Separate teams mean clearer metrics for performance evaluation. BD can be measured on client acquisition and satisfaction, while recruiters can be measured on placement success and candidate satisfaction. Accountability: Clear division of responsibilities ensures that each team is accountable for their specific goals, leading to improved performance and motivation. 4. Enhanced Client and Candidate Experience Seamless Handover: While it requires good coordination, a well-managed handover between BD and recruitment teams can result in a better experience for both clients and candidates. Clients get consistent communication from BD professionals, and candidates receive dedicated attention from recruiters. Consistency: BD professionals can build strong, ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring consistent service and understanding of client needs. Conclusion Transitioning to a 180-degree model can significantly enhance your ability to scale by allowing each team to focus on what they do best, improving efficiency, and creating clear paths for growth. It’s important to manage this transition carefully, ensuring that processes are well-defined and teams are motivated to collaborate. By doing so, you can overcome the bottlenecks of the 360-degree model and position your business for sustained growth and success.

Hot tip for anyone trying to leverage ChatGPT's newest 4o release to uncover high-quality accounts that share similarities with current top clients. Step 1: Run a report to pull your top 100–500 clients. Step 2: Copy the account names into a separate text document. Step 3: Manually search for each account's LinkedIn page, and copy and paste their Overview section into the text document, under the respective account name. Step 4: Open up ChatGPT-4o and use a simple prompt like, "Here are the LinkedIn summaries for X amount of companies:". Step 5: After it replies, saying it's ready, paste in the entire text document you've created. I've found that the new release can handle dozens of pages of text quite easily. Once the text is pasted in, you should get a reply like, "Thank you for providing the LinkedIn summaries for these companies. How would you like to proceed with this information? Are you looking for analysis, insights, or assistance with a specific task related to these companies?". Step 6: Ask it to find short words or phrases that could be used to identify similar companies. Step 7: You should get a useful list of words/phrases, but refine it by providing more context to your query. In my case at Revolut, I typed, "Take into consideration that the companies I shared all do business internationally, and have a need for international payments and foreign exchange. Are there other words or phrases that stand out that might signal businesses with these specific needs?". Step 8: At this point, you should have a distilled list of unique words and phrase pairings that would have taken hours/days to assemble. Step 9: Now, in SalesNav, go to your Account Filter, and set some basic parameters, depending on your territory, business types, etc. Step 10: Here's where it gets fun - Enter combinations of the words and short phrases in the "Search Keywords" field. For best results, use parenthesis along with the boolean "AND" function (Ex. "international clients" AND "global"). This should provide you with a concise list of accounts that describe themselves in similar ways to your top clients. The results I've gotten using this method are excellent, and are relatively untapped, compared to what comes up using standard filtering techniques. Note that on step 3, not all of your clients are going to have good overview sections, or seem relevant, but put them in regardless. Because ChatGPT 4o lets you run a meta analysis on so many accounts, you may be surprised by what words and phrases are actually strong indicators that the company would be a good fit. If this interests you, and you'd like to see the process done live, hit me up! #FindingLeads #Outbound #AE #BDR #SalesManagers #ProspectingTips #ChatGPT4o #AccountAnalysis #TopClients #Playbook #AI #BooleanSearch
