🏡📊 May 2024 GTA Real Estate Market Watch! Home sales remained low in May, with buyers waiting for mortgage rate relief. However, more new listings gave buyers more negotiating power. 🔹 Sales: 7,013 homes sold, down 21.7% from May 2023. 🔹 New Listings: Up 21.1% year-over-year. 🔹 Prices: Average selling price at $1,165,691, down 2.5% from last year. TRREB President Jennifer Pearce highlights that declining mortgage rates in the next 18 months will attract more buyers, easing rental market pressures.
