Did you know that you were not created to be understood? It's a hard truth to accept, but think about it - no matter how hard we try to understand someone, we always keep discovering new things about them. But here's the thing - we can't change this reality because it's part of God's wisdom. God created man in such a way that only He and man himself can truly understand man. So, the next time someone misunderstands you, find peace in knowing that you were not created to be understood, hence the misunderstanding. It's called "MIS-UNDERSTAND" for a reason - someone missed your understanding. Remember, we all have unique personalities, experiences, and perspectives that shape who we are. Embrace your uniqueness and take comfort in the fact that you don't have to be understood by everyone. Focus on understanding and accepting yourself, and the rest will fall into place. #uniqueness #selflove #understanding

I've Been in My Feels Lately... Not that long ago, I came across this quote, "comparison is the thief of joy," which I believe was attributed to Theodore Roosevelt. It reminded me of an Arabic proverb I've lived by since I was a kid: «القَنَاعَةُ كَنْزٌ لا يُفْنىٰ» "Contentment is an endless treasure," or "Contentedness is like a treasure that never runs out." It's easy to fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to others, but this often leaves us feeling worse. We often compare our everyday looks to the best picture someone took after a thousand attempts, or our first attempt to someone else's years of training. This can distort our self-image and make us feel less than we are. By focusing on our own path and being content with what we have, we can find true happiness. Comparison, when used wisely, can actually uplift us. It should spark gratitude and remind us of our humanity. Let's use comparison deliberately to appreciate our blessings and to inspire us to help others. In these times, with many struggling due to a worsening economy, inflation, and the abhorrent genocide of innocent civilians driven by human greed, it's more important than ever to focus on what we have and how we can help those in need. This way, we transform comparison from a thief into a tool for growth and compassion. #Gratitude #Contentment #PersonalGrowth #Mindfulness #Compassion #ArabicProverb

Empathy -*——*———* “يا أبا عُمير ما فعل النُغير" “Abu Umair, what happened to the little bird?" This was said by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to a young boy, the brother of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), to console him when he saw him saddened by the death of his bird. How much we need to emulate the morals of the Prophet ﷺ in his dealings with both the young and the old, comforting them, bringing joy to their hearts, being gentle with them, and calling them by the names they love the most. Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another person. It's about putting yourself in someone else's shoes and seeing things from their perspective, which helps in building deep and meaningful connections. Empathy involves recognizing another person's emotional state, showing compassion, and sometimes providing support or comfort. It's a fundamental aspect of human interaction that fosters kindness, understanding, and strong relationships.

06.5.2024) Sorry I learned that in Buddhism, people are allowed to make the same mistake up to 3 times, according to a book I read 😅. 06.01.2024) “You can mistake once, not twice.” which might be one of the good sayings to tell young people, before we get angry, snap on their mistakes. I see not a few cases in 🇯🇵 generally young people are getting more sensitive weaker also quieter than people of decades ago, in that point we elder people need to be more patient or change ideas, however we need to talk to them especially when they trouble other people. Keep talking 👍 #internationalcommunication #globalcommunication

"A person who speaks less often has more to say to himself." 🤫💬👤 🌟 Silence is often a powerful tool for self-reflection and growth. 💬 🤐 By speaking less, we grant ourselves the opportunity to listen more closely to our inner voice, which often speaks louder than words. 💭 Silence carries its own eloquence. What are your thoughts on the art of speaking less and saying more? Truthfulness vs Presumptuousness Quite often, these two attitudes are separated just by a thin line. In this sixth post in the series of commonly misinterpreted traits of human behaviour, we will explore the manner in which a person communicates what they think is true. This is something to watch out for, because just as people can get aggressive instead of being assertive, you might see people being presumptuous in the garb of being honest. At the most basic level, being truthful is expressing what you think is true, but being presumptuous means being a bully about it. Truthfulness comes from confidence. Presumptuousness can come either from over-confidence or from ignorance. You can be truthful while being respectful. Presumptuous behaviour makes you disrespect boundaries. Truth can be expressed in the limits of empathy. Presumptuousness demonstrates a high level of insensitivity. #selfdevelopment #humanbehaviour #belief #selfconfidence #complacence #motivation #inspiration #spirituality #series #confidence #success #strength #fear #vedanta #quantumscience #Vediquant

Hazrat Ali (A.S.) offers a profound reflection on the fleeting nature of life and the importance of doing good. Here's a detailed interpretation of this saying for today's context: - Impermanence of Life: Life is transient, much like clouds that drift and disappear. This highlights the temporary nature of our existence. - Urgency of Action: Given life's brevity, there is an urgency to engage in good deeds without delay. - Moral Responsibility: It emphasizes our duty to contribute positively to the world while we have the opportunity. - Mindful Living: Encourages living with awareness and purpose, making the most of each moment.
