This chart exhibits the extreme increase in housing sales and rental prices in Türkiye compared to OECD countries. While the OECD average nominal housing sales price index rose from 100 (2015) to 177 (2023), the same index was calculated as 1294 (almost 13 times) in Türkiye. The rental price index was also obtained more than 5 times its value in 2015 (100). If we understand how to interpret this chart, and the reasons behind the increase, we can start discussing the potential solutions. SMR Strategy #paradigmchange #housingcrisis
