Could your business help support an inclusive sport that's making a difference in Yorkshire? West Yorkshire Goalball Club is seeking financial sponsorship to continue our training and development. Last season, our intermediate team topped their league, and we’re proud to have players of all ages, including a group of young people who are developing into strong competitors. In return for your support, we’d be happy to offer a Goalball Taster Day – a unique team-building experience where your team can try this Paralympic sport, which was designed specifically for blind players. It’s a powerful way to foster communication, collaboration, and inclusion. We can also support you to develop visual awareness and an understanding of how to best reach customers who are blind or visually impaired. I was introduced to goalball at age 12. Growing up, I thought I was bad at sports, but goalball gave me a love for physical activity and a sense of community. For many blind people, goalball is so much more than a sport. It's a way to connect with other people who really understand what you are experiencing, and gives you the opportunity to truly discover who you are and become the best version of yourself, as cringey as that might sound!! Without funding, we won’t be able to continue training and providing these opportunities.
