Do you know, as a Developer or as a Project Manager what is the code of trust within companies? It's actually quite funny, however if you think deeply about it, it can make you feel like we're all fools. Think a litlte what happend again and again, when this one question comes from your manager to you. How long will it take to finish this task? You: Thinking... considering this week we have to finish other urgent task, and the legacy code I have no idea how it works and the posibility that you're going to assing to me other urgent tasks... you will probably say, "two or three weeks and all depend", taking some extra time to be sure that you'll get it done in three weeks. There are two posibilities depending of what kind of manager you're dealing with. Your manager 100% of the time will say 1 - Three weeks is too much! we need this by Monday of next week. 2 - Are you sure? Let's say four weeks, that way we can be sure we'll get it done in the time we say. Or do you have experience with managers who said "OK, fine, three weeks, perfect..."

Junior PM: We are getting an error in implementation. Let us document it, so we can ask the engineering team to look into it. Mid-level PM: Let's add a cache and a few automation steps to save time and improve performance, or this can be a problem in a few months. Senior PM: Why are we building this when <existing solution> already does what we need?
