Neglecting small errors can lead to big losses. As a quality control/quality assurance officer, are you aware that a simple error you miss can cause the company significant losses? Let me tell you a story. A quality control officer was once inspecting a batch of products ready for shipment when he noticed that some informations on the packages was blurry. The manufacturing date, expiration date, and batch number were not clear. He thought to himself, "It's not a big deal; it's still readable." So, he let it slide. A few weeks later, they started receiving complaints from customers. They couldn't read the dates on the packages properly. Some even returned the products because they couldn't trust if they were still good to use. The company had to recall the entire batch, which cost a lot of money and almost damaged their reputation. This experience taught him a valuable lesson: never neglect unclear coding on packages. As a quality control/quality assurance officer, it is your responsibility to ensure that all information on the package is clear and readable. If you notice any issues with the information on the package, immediately call the attention of the machine operators or technicians who oversee the packaging equipment to ensure it functions correctly and dates and vital information are clear enough. They can make the necessary corrections to avoid any problems down the line. If the information on a package are not clear, it can cause problems because: ▪️ Customers might not buy the product if they cannot read the essential information. ▪️ Consumers might unknowingly consume expired products, leading to health problems and potential lawsuits. ▪️ Consistent coding errors can damage the company's reputation, making customers lose trust in the brand. Always remember, what seems manageable to you might be a significant issue for the consumers. They rely on the information on the package to make informed decisions. Ensure the coding is always clear and accurate. Please, repost to your network and share your experience in the comment section if you have encountered similar issues before. This isn't just about food right now; for as long as it's business-wise, the ripple effect of that act of negligence MAY extend far beyond the imaginary in terms of the company's reputation. And of course, it's food—no guard should be lost in commitment and attention to detail. Thank you for sharing, Okeke, Ifeoma Vivian.! I must say, your new profile picture is giving Ma😊
