2/3 - The result for our team: we did not manage to present our solution, but we came out of the hackathon learning a ton of very valuable knowledge that will certainly be reusable. We did manage to create an integration between users using SMS (via Sinch) and an OpenAI-powered agent that was using functions to retrieve the necessary data for completing the chat conversation. We approached the hackathon as a learning experience, and I think that goal was 100% achieved. What I learned: There is a paradigm shift in how to think and develop cloud-native applications, and new tools are available to support developers. I learned a lot of new tools, starting with Cillers and Polytope for infrastructure as code. The Sinch Conversation API was extremely easy to use and understand.
