Co-build, nurture and create fans through community 5. Don't hire VP Sales - stick with founder-sales 6. Let insights from founder-led sales fuel founder brand $5M - $10M 1. Hire VP Sales so you can scale founder brand to ∞ 2. Make sure they know how to do organic social too 3. Hire a community manager that is your exact ICP 4. Hire SEO agency to cover every BOFU SEO opportunity 5. Go crazy with wild brand awareness plays and stunts -------------- Most founders in Raven founder brand community (some ~35 of them) are taking a very similar path and finding real success fairly quickly. Finding PMF and building a sustainable business is so much easier when you've been your own ICP for years and know the space intimately. The playbook has changed.

Am I getting this right? > Be active (and visible) in a growing space for a number of years (could be 5, could be 10) > Earn the respect of all the long-term people in that space > Use that as leverage for whatever hard problem you decide to solve > Run the based GTM playbook you laid out > Avoid tons of bullshit along the way

Ognjen Bošković 🐦⬛, too many founders get caught up in creating the perfect product but forget that without a solid plan to get it out there. Start by being your own ideal customer, understand their pain points inside and out. Build your brand and narrative first, that’s what will attract people to your product when it’s ready.
