I remember from my own experience, Arun LNG production facility once produced LNG from14 TCF gas reserves. Theoretically, Arun should have no problem to handle this 11 TCF. However, I am also not sure how the facility trains can be reactivated after 10 years of idle and without any warranty. Additionally, the existing facilities were developed 1977 and required higher feed gas for fuel than the current liquefaction system needs. Perhaps building new trains adjacent to the existing facility would be better so that the existing storages and loading ports can be still used.

TotalEnergies takes FID on Ubeta gas development to supply NLNG plant TotalEnergies and NNPC have taken the Final #Investment Decision (#FID) for the #development of the Ubeta gas field on OML 58 onshore license in #Nigeria. Ubeta #gas-#condensate field will be developed with a new 6-#well cluster connected to the existing Obite facilities as #gasproduction start-up is expected in 2027 at a plateau of 300 MMCF/D which will be supplied to NLNG. The #carbonintensity of the project will be reduced through a 5 MW #solar plant currently under construction at the Obite site and the #electrification of the #drillingrig, TotalEnergies said, adding that it is working closely with NNPC to enhance #localcontent, with more than 90% of #manhours which will be worked locally. The 22 MMT/Y NLNG plant’s shareholders are #NNPC 49.0%, #Shell 25.6%, #TotalEnergies 15.00% and #ENI 10.40%. Good to see Korea Gas Corporation(KOGAS) - and, more broadly, South Korea - continuing to invest in long-term LNG supply. South Korea has long been one of the world's biggest LNG importers and continued access to gas for power generation is a critical component of the country's pathway to net zero. Saudi Aramco has signed a non-binding agreement with US energy firm Sempra for the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Phase 2 of the Port Arthur project in Texas. The heads of agreement (HoA) will see Aramco buy as much as 5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG for 20 years. The state-owned energy giant will also make a 25 per cent equity investment in the proposed Phase 2 expansion. Chevron's Gorgon #LNG train is offline, likely for weeks. ENB's Yiying Li reports on the outage that has hit one of #Australia’s major #gas export facilities. Gorgon, one of the world's most significant #LNG projects, comprises a three-train, 15.6 million tonnes per annum liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility and a domestic gas plant supplying 300 terajoules of gas per day to WA. It is a joint venture between Chevron (47.3%) as operator, ExxonMobil (25%), Shell (25%), Osaka Gas (1.25%), Tokyo Gas (1%), and JERA Co., Inc.
