The US eCommerce market is booming, and the stats prove it. The second quarter of 2024 marked the third highest so far for US eCommerce sales – beaten only by the fourth quarter of 2023 (exceeding $300 billion) and Q4 of 2022. Bear in mind, both those include the key online retail periods of Christmas and Black Friday. It will be interesting to see how well Q4 does this year! At the same time, offline sales growth is at its lowest since the start of the pandemic. The news is no surprise to us. We work closely with UK eCommerce retailers, taking care of their shipping and delivery into the US, so we see first-hand how buoyant demand is. The US is our strongest market, and this weekend alone we shipped thousands of parcels there for UK exporters. We ship to seven different US locations, working closely with final mile delivery partners. There’s no doubt, the US eCommerce market is big and it’s growing.
