How aware are you of diaper need in our Native American communities? According to the Annie E. Casey Foundation, 30% of Native American families across the United States experience significant diaper need. In 2024, approximately 18% of families served by Babies of Homelessness had Native American household members. When you donate to BoH, we can leverage each dollar to purchase diapers at a steep discount, so each dollar goes much further. Please consider Babies of Homelessness for your end of year giving, for a diaper drive, or for donating diapers and formula, today. The need is now. By supporting SADD Nation this holiday season, you can play a vital role in helping to impact hundreds of thousands of youth across the country. There is a tremendous need to elevate youth voices on issues affecting them. They have been yelling from the top of the mountains on: ◾ Traffic & Mobility Safety (i.e., addressing #distracteddriving, access to #drivereducation, and advocating for various automobile technology advances) ◾ Health & Mental Health (i.e., increasing #suicideawareness, access to #mentalhealth resources, and the pressures of school, work, extracurricular activities, and home) ◾ Substance Use Prevention (i.e., effects of tobacco & marijuana, addressing the #opioid epidemic, and the relation between mental health and drug use) #SADD is a part of that solution. We give youth more than a voice. We give them a platform to impact themselves and their peers. Through your support, you become part of #SADDNation, a team that will positively educate and inform youth across the country, ultimately helping to #savelives. Join us. www.sadd.org/donate
🌟 This holiday season, give the gift of *saving lives*. 🌟 Your generous donation to SADD empowers us to continue our mission of educating young folks, supporting caring adults, and strengthening communities. Together, we promote safe driving behaviors and prevent destructive decisions on and off the road. Every contribution directly supports programming that makes a measurable impact, helping to ensure every young person has the tools they need to make responsible choices. Because of you, more families can celebrate safely, and more lives are protected. Join us in making our world safer for everyone. Donate today and be a part of our life-saving mission. 💙🚗 Head to sadd.org/donate

A few sobering stats from the "Household Food Insecurity in Canada, 2022"◽ report: ◾ 22.9% of households in Newfoundland and Labrador experienced some degree of food insecurity in the previous 12 months, amounting to 116,000 people. ◾ This is the highest rate in any of the ten provinces in Canada. ◾ 28.8% of children under 18 in Newfoundland and Labrador lived in food-insecure households. Since 2022, NLCU has held its annual NLCU Fall Food Drive to help support individuals and families in Newfoundland and Labrador who experience food insecurity to get the nourishment they need. Please donate if you can. Between now and October 31, drop by your local NLCU branch to make a donation. ------ ◽ Li T, Fafard St-Germain AA, Tarasuk V. This is so tragic! Details on how to help below 👇
Christmas Miracle needed ❤️ We have received the devastating news that one of our beneficiaries vans, full of gifts for 100 local children, caught fire after leaving our Mission Christmas HQ this week. All occupants are safe and well, but all of the gifts have been destroyed. These children who were about to have their Christmas wish come true are now sadly back to square one. 💔 If you can help, and are out shopping this weekend, PLEASE buy that 1 extra in B&M or donate online via the link in bio to help us find the gifts for these local children. #MissionChristmas #Cashforkids #ChristmasWish https://lnkd.in/ed9_czHH

Confession: I like Giving Tuesday 🤯 I don't like it for the flood of posts and endless requests I receive, but because it's a day intentionally indicated to giving any kind or amount of personal resources to each other. ❓ Why should I give? We all have needs. Needing can be scary, especially when we spend each day trying to fulfill our own needs and those of our in-group. However, needing can also be exceptionally companionable when we realize it's what we all have in common. So, in my opinion, you should give something this Giving Tuesday because we all need something. ➕ Additionally, today most places have opportunities to match your donation! You can give the same amount on any other day, but today is the day it will make the most impact. ❓ What should I give? The simple answer is to examine what you have to give. You can give time by volunteering, you can give energy by learning about local causes, you can give items to in-kind donations, and, of course, you can always give money. Giving is an expression of empathy. I like Giving Tuesday because today, there is energy, time, and resources committed to compounding your expression of empathy, which is why today is the day to intentionally give.
🎉 Giving Tuesday is here! Today, YOU have the power to help 100% of kids and families thrive. Your gift to United Way of Salt Lake ensures lasting impact where it’s needed most. 🌟 Be the reason someone smiles today. Donate now: https://bit.ly/3Zu2A6A
