🌸 When we got married, we realized we might face challenges in having our first child. 🌸 As a doctor, I had two options: 1️⃣ Expensive medical treatments 2️⃣ Or follow the natural process While I knew I could choose the medical route, I was aware of the potential risks and complications. Instead, my wife and I decided to focus on a healthy, natural journey to parenthood. 👶 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁? We were blessed with a baby—without the emotional or financial stress of medical interventions. And after my first kid turn 4 years we planned for second one still our fertility score was poor and we were in stress but after following our health transformation path we conceived again and give birth to our angel 👼🏻 girl..🎉🎊🌟 💡 Decades ago, medical treatments weren’t available, and people still conceived naturally. 𝗪𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲, 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. Today, as a doctor, I confidently guide my patients through the same natural path. Many come to me emotionally drained, overwhelmed by advice from family and friends, and frustrated by the lack of results. But once they join my 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, their journey to parenthood takes a positive turn. ✨ 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆!✨ If you’re facing challenges or just want to learn more about a natural path to conception, 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗗𝗠! This Friday my family and I will be celebrating our twin daughters' 4th birthday! And as special as this occasion is, when I reflect back on my pregnancy and childbirth experience with my girls, it brings up a well of emotions! And not just because I almost miscarried them at 8 weeks. Or because I was admitted to the hospital the same day that Lockdown began on March 11, 2020 and gave birth via emergency c-section due to SEVERE pre-eclampsia four days later (though these are DEFINITELY a part of why recalling my twin pregnancy can be overwhelming)! However, the main thing that sticks out to me about that time is how one uncaring, biased white doctor purposely failed to inform me of signs of pre-eclampsia (a significant jump in my blood pressure) at 20 weeks 😡 ! I am speaking about this experience TOMORROW at the BlackSpeakersNetwork Equity & Leadership Virtual Summit! Join me and a lineup of excellent speakers as we delve into important topics, discuss how to navigate the complexities of modern leadership, and strive for equity in every aspect of society. A message from our Chief Medical Officer, Janet Choi:
Chief Medical Officer at Progyny | Double-Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist/OBGYN and women's health champion | Increasing access to women's healthcare
On International Women’s Day, we’re reminded that we should celebrate our lives, our bodies, and if we choose to pursue - our individualized journeys to parenthood. It’s timely that this day is happening when President Biden and Alabama’s Governor are working to protect IVF— a vitally important medical treatment that makes family building a possibility to so many who otherwise would not have the opportunity to pursue their dreams of parenthood. But there is still work to be done. It's imperative that we continue to advocate and fight for access to family building care and protect the 1 in 6 individuals who face infertility. The choice of how one should grow their family should rest solely in the hands of the patient and their healthcare provider. Reflecting on the past couple of weeks, it is clear that this community stands together and believes that every individual, regardless of their circumstance, should be able to access the care they need to grow their families. Thank you—to our leading employers, for your unwavering support and expanding access to family building care to your employees; to our providers, for making the dream of family come true for so many via treatment decisions based on science and personalized medicine; and most importantly, thank you to our members, for always pushing forward despite the challenges — you are the reason why we continue to fight to protect all the different paths to parenthood.

Visualising Data: The "River of Life" Map 🎨 One of the outcomes of the Early Childhood Development in Ealing (ECDE) project is the captivating "River of Life" map, skilfully illustrated by Sandra Howgate 🌟 Inspired by focus groups and research data, this fictional depiction shows the journey of a young family in Ealing, from pregnancy through their child's formative years (3-5). Their story illustrates many common challenges faced by Ealing families - from housing problems to speech delays - while depicting a system that is ready and able to meet them with the support and services, they need to ensure their child has the best start in life. We encourage policy makers, service providers and community members to use this tool to work together to envision and strive to build systems that work for diverse families through embedding caring approaches that empower families, and which can profoundly improve early childhood development in Ealing and beyond. 🌈 Explore the illustration here 👇 https://lnkd.in/eq4URDJ5 #EarlyChildhoodDevelopment #CommunitySupport 🖌️👨👩👧👦

When a baby is born too soon, it's common for the families to have questions: Why did this happen? Can it be prevented in the future? What is my risk of premature birth next time? Last month, we launched our new National Centre for Preterm Birth Research, because we believe more needs to be done to prevent babies being born prematurely, and give answers to families. Our new centre is dedicated to answering these key questions families affected by premature birth. Through ground-breaking research, we can give a new generation a better start in life. Motherhood brings many challenges. Having less control than before is one of them. Learning to let go of things outside of your control helps to refine our focus, but also to increase enjoyment in our day-to-day. #womeninbusiness #motherhood #infinitygrowth #materialsbusiness #LIVideo
