💡 "If someone suggests I work with a coach, does that mean I’m not successful?" ✨ I’d actually like to offer a contradictory view. Coaching can be incredibly effective, but it works best when the coachee is ready for it—when they’re mature enough and self-aware enough to fully engage. The only real requirement for a meaningful coaching experience, in my opinion, is that the choice to participate be voluntary. You can be offered a coach, but ultimately, the decision to work with one should be yours. ❗ "You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t force it to drink." 🕜 The impact of coaching also depends on timing. Sometimes, a single session can lead to a breakthrough, while other times, it takes longer and involves a more strategic, long-term approach. 💫 But if you approach it with trust and a genuine readiness to grow, coaching can be truly transformative. 🚀Follow me for tips on developing yourself and your organization with purpose! #personaldevelopment #organizationaldevelopment #coaching #mentoring #consulting #planbco #franklincoveygeorgia #franklincoveyarmenia

The Qualities That Make an Efficient Coach #coaching #mentorship #leadership The past four years of learning from mentors like Arfeen Khan have instilled in me some invaluable qualities that I believe make an efficient coach. Here are a few that resonate most: 🔸Empathy: Understanding my coachee's perspective is key to creating a safe space for growth. 🔸Active Listening: Truly listening without judgment allows me to uncover the root of challenges. 🔸Solution-Focused: I guide my coachees towards finding their own solutions, fostering self-reliance. 🔸Continuous Learning: The coaching world is ever-evolving, and I strive to stay updated. These qualities, along with compassion and a non-judgmental approach, have been instrumental in my coaching journey. Ready to unlock your full potential? It's not always easy to ask for help. Sometimes we feel too proud, or maybe too ashamed to ask. Maybe we feel we'll look weak, or we'll inconvenience the person who we're asking. However, it's important to ask for help when we need it. Not only does the knowledge we gain help us, but the act of speaking out and being honest with ourselves is also beneficial in its own right. #leadershipdevelopment #personaldevelopment #coaching #mentorship https://lnkd.in/ePjQnJtG

🔑"Do I, as a coach, give advice to my clients?" This is a question I get asked often. The short answer is: I don’t give advice when I am doing pure coaching, which is all about deep listening, asking questions and holding the space for the client to look within and generate their own insights. Over the years I have come to realize that pure coaching is a necessary, absolutely valuable tool while working with people, but it is definitely not enough for most people💡 There are times when what the client really needs is PRACTICAL advice from someone who has a lot of experience in the topic at hand and can tell them literally “what to do in a specific situation”, what the risks and potential outcomes could be. This is the reason I have stepped into the role of a Mentor, in addition to being a coach, thus continuously cultivating mastery in my ability to see the complexity, depth and multiple nuances of a variety of issues my clients come to me with and share all of that with them. I will address a few more nuances in the comments section 👇 #coaching #mentoring #mentalhealth #lifecoaching #careercoaching #relationshipcoach #relationshipcoaching

What can you get from coaching? 💡First of all, understanding your potential and how you can realize it, mobilizing internal resources and, as a result, significant changes in life, expressed in concrete results. Coaching is a very powerful tool for training people. During the coaching session, the individual begins to realize their own values and goals and understand what practical skills are necessary to materialize them. In the coaching process, the coach’s purpose is to support the coachee use all their capabilities and skills, increase the clarity of their perception, go beyond their long-held beliefs and stereotypes, and ultimately teach the coachee methods of self-development. It is the support and guidance of an individual in a coaching relationship that helps them learn to make their own decisions independently. 🚀 Ready to reach your full potential? Coaching Tip of the Week Imagine this: you're deeply committed to helping clients achieve their goals. Everything progresses smoothly until, suddenly, misunderstandings arise about the services you’re providing. Weeks pass, and despite attending sessions, your client hasn't paid their initial invoice and is ignoring your emails about it. What should you do? This is where a solid client contract acts as your safety net. Picture yourself as a coach, excited to guide someone toward their dreams. However, without boundaries, you realize they've misunderstood your expertise. By clearly outlining what you will and won't do, you set the stage for success. Your clients know exactly what to expect, and this clarity helps build trust and strong professional relationships. By simplifying and emphasizing the importance of clear client contracts, you empower yourself to focus on what truly matters - guiding them to success without unnecessary distractions. Take control and protect your passion, yes, for sure, but also ensure mutual respect through clear contracts. Ready to solidify your coaching practice further? ❓ At which stage do you think people tend to seek coaching the most? 💡 Before answering this question, I would like to remind you the four stages of competence: Unconscious incompetence – "I don’t know what I don’t know." Conscious incompetence – "Now I know what I don’t know." Conscious competence – "I know what I know and can apply it." Unconscious competence – "I do it effortlessly, without thinking." ❗ You may be surprised, but in my experience, it’s often after reaching unconscious competence — when you’re so skilled at something that it becomes your second nature. That’s often when people hit a ceiling and might feel stuck or even go through a bit of a crisis. Coaching at this stage can really help, whether by showing you a fresh direction or bringing new meaning to the work you already do. 🚀Follow me for tips on developing yourself and your organization with purpose! #personaldevelopment #organizationaldevelopment #coaching #mentoring #consulting #planbco #franklincoveygeorgia #franklincoveyarmenia

Thought for the Day If a picture says a thousand words then show me professional coaching. 🤷🏻♀️ Sure. 🙋🏻 Here are the important elements of a coaching relationship in a single illustration. A coach and a client - you can decide who is who - surrounded by : - A Scale: Fairness, ethical behaviour, balanced and non judgmental decision making. - Clocks: Dedicated time for curiosity, critical questioning and deep listening. - Cogs: A process of jointly working through issues - Lightbulbs: Insights with new goals and ways of thinking. - Clouds: Embracing uncertainty, allowing for tears and for problems to arise and be tackled. - Padlock: Confidentiality, trust and mutual respect. What symbols would you add (other than two coffees of course)?☕️☕️ 🍏 #coaching #mentoring #icf #dall-E

Coaching for Organization Coaching is now a new trend, not only for personal but it has also been used as well in organization. So why is it and what is the difference with other personnel development? Many might have confused the terms of coaching, counselling, consulting, mentoring, or even training, as sometimes, the word just pumps out without knowing the differences, but more to discuss an issue or situation. So, let’s discuss each one to understand which is suitable for what situation. Coaching is an approach for the development of an individual, or it could also be conducted in group or with the team. The main point for coaching is the setting is made with focused and purposeful conversation with the aim to enhance the performance. The individual who we refer to as client or coachee, is the one who will be active in the discussion exploring the option/potential. The coach will work by asking insightful questions, offering hypotheses, broaden perspective and assist the coachee in finding clarity and insight to the agenda they are exploring. 1 of 3 #coaching #coach #clients
