This week, I was surrounded by extraordinary individuals such as Yuri Quintana, PhD, FACMI, Gyana Srivastava, and Amanda Joseph. At vitalera, we had the privilege of working with and learning from them about the future of telemedicine and patient engagement at the Division of Clinical Informatics at BIDMC. We are also incredibly proud to collaborate with the CAR-T team at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on remote patient monitoring to predict the risk of readmission using our advanced technology. Here are some key takeaways from this week: - The technology is available, but we need evidence-based practices, high-quality standards, and an excellent implementation process. -Trust is the foundation of everything, including technology implementation. In this era of AI, our focus must be on quality and reliability. - Our efforts are ultimately for the benefit of patients, so we must ensure we are well-prepared and knowledgeable. -Patients must be at the center of every decision we make.
AI is one of the most controversial topics when it concerns healthcare. Do you think we should continue to develop it this rapidly?
