a lot has been posted today about the new OpenSSH vulnerability - cve-2024-6387, Orca Security has released one of the better writeups on it. (https://lnkd.in/gUmnBPYE). CVE-2024-6387 could allow attackers to execute code on your servers without authentication, and as root.Orca found that nearly half (48%) of organizations are using an OpenSSH package vulnerable to CVE-2024-6387.
