One of the things we started doing with our DEMO guests is having them put one (or more) of their vinyl stickers on the wall around our DEMO neon sign. Here's the current state of the wall, with some past (and future) guest companies. There is still room on the wall for previous guests for their stickers, and of course, if you want to be on the wall, you have to be on the show. “First time to watch fireworks this summer - the fireworks festival in Tachikawa~” Last Saturday, I went to Tachikawa to watch fireworks! They created a stunning visual tapestry against the dark sky. The spectacle is a nostalgic reminder of the joys, excitement and beginning of summer; so is the sound of cicadas chirping haha While watching fireworks, I was thinking of how fireworks craftsmen had prepared for a long time to display a breathtaking bullet of sparkling lights till last Saturday. They must have put so much effort into creating a wide variety of fireworks, thinking of people watching them. In preparation for your goals, there might be a time when you feel demotivated or distracted. You might wonder if you are not capable of achieving goals or the scale of what you do is comparatively small. If you are on that stage, think of outcomes you can deliver and how people would react to you after accomplishing your goals. That might re-motivate you to prepare well:)

"The bigger your band becomes, the bigger the shows. So you would think damn we should be able to make a living from this right?? Well … unfortunately, there is an agency that manages a monopoly position and then says: We sell your merch, and we charge a commission for it, and with some costs added you pay 40/50% of a sale to them. That’s why the merch items are so expensive at all the big shows. We then have to send an invoice to that agency and wait another month until the invoice is perhaps paid after a month. If you don’t do this, you won’t be allowed to sell your own merch. you decide to sell your merch yourself.
