Attended the “Authentic Leadership: Paving the Way for Women in Finance” discussions which was truly inspiring! Key takeaways from the speakers—Layla Qassim, Dhosjan Greenaway-Dalini, MBA, Humera Afzal and Camille Pêtre —emphasized the importance of authenticity and resilience in leadership. They encouraged us to define success on our own terms, whether through meaningful work, personal growth, or holistic balance in life. Back in 2018 I started running a facilitated group discussion around the future of female leadership called Plight of the Powerful Woman. As a coach and corporate trainer, I have intimate exposure to the challenges faced by emerging female leaders and the roadblocks that still exist for established female leaders. I work closely with international women's groups of multinational organizations to address empowerment, oppression, and strategic negotiation within systems not designed by or for them. After years of closed door discussions in-house, it became clear to me that women need a place to clarify intention, purpose, and strategy in how they will play the game of leadership to transform the future of industry. So I created the space. It's totally free. It's virtual. It's a small group discussion, so space is limited. And we go again on June 20th. If you're interested in participating, please let me know.
