I love this. What an incredible way to take ownership of the story and make changes the community needs. How often have you gone along with a narrative ‘because that’s the way it is’ without thinking ‘does it have to be like this’? ‘How could it be better’? What if you looked at your own circumstances and saw could be done, and did it. That’s full on Scout Mindset right there, not proving or disproving theories, but seeing what’s really there. Wanting to change is easy. Making changes is harder. Keeping promises to yourself and others? Priceless. Non sibi, sed suis While resources are provided for food on-campus, there are still segments of students that experience difficulties with accessing food. As a result, a trio of students formed Students Against Food Insecurity (SAFI), which has partnered with various organizations and departments to distribute over 3,500 pounds of food to the Tulane community.
