We at NORDEMANN are proud to contribute to Brand Action. Together with so many others from the international trademark community we thereby support the people of Ukraine. Thank you to everybody at Brand Action making this possible with so much passionate work! Last weekend we delivered the first of two ambulances that Brand Action donated through BEforUkraine, thanks to the incredible support of all our sponsors from the Atlanta fundraising event this past May. Representing Brand Action, I, Paulina Rius and Tony Farrow from DotSucks, embarked on a three-day journey to Lviv, covering hundreds of kilometers: Day 1 from Vilvoorde to Gorlitz (880 km), Day 2 from Gorlitz to Rzeszow (590 km), and Day 3 from Rzeszow to Lviv (170 km). When we finally arrived at the Lviv National Opera Plaza, the local people greeted us with open arms and immense gratitude. For me, this has been a life-changing experience. The people of Ukraine thanked us countless times, and we received so much love on social media, but I’m the one who should be thankful. I want to thank all our sponsors and supporters who made this delivery possible. As the people who received the ambulance said, it’s not just an ambulance; it’s a way to save lives. Lives of people, not soldiers, because every soldier had a life before the war and hopefully these ambulances will help ensure they have a life after. One of the things that impacted us the most was the contrast within the same city. On one side, you see people living their lives on a typical Sunday, enjoying the park with their families. But just a few meters away, you find the remnants of war, where only a couple of weeks ago, a missile hit a residential area, tragically killing a family of six. It’s hard to imagine for those of us far removed from this reality, but I hope I can convey, as best as I can, what they are going through and raise awareness so we can continue supporting and helping in any way possible. I also feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent Brand Action and be part of this journey. I did it with 11 others who, by the end, felt like family. The bond we formed during those three days is indescribable. It reminded me that, regardless of nationalities, we are all human and share this world together. We need to support each other whenever it’s needed. I’m incredibly moved by the army of people we’ve built with Brand Action, all of whom are willing to do their part to leave this world a little better than we found it. And just as we supported Ukraine this time, Brand Action will continue its mission to help people in times of crisis. - Paulina #brandaction #beforUA #community
