Tips for managing questions to the client. Remain aware of deadlines for questions and answers and avoid procrastination in submitting questions. This is important because your deadline may differ from theirs (even if it isn't, it's always a good practice). Stay on top of deadlines so you'll have time to adjust if something happens — like an unexpected delay or change in plans. #competitivebidding #aec #aecproposals

🔹 Ever wondered about the role of government contracting as a middle man in the business world? Let's dive into this thought-provoking topic and explore the dynamics at play when it comes to this aspect of the industry. 🔹 When we think about government contracting, it's easy to see them as simply intermediaries between the government and private businesses. But if we dig deeper, we might uncover some fascinating insights into how this relationship shapes the marketplace and drives innovation. 🔹 One could argue that government contractors bridge the gap between the public sector's needs and the private sector's capabilities. They act as facilitators, bringing together different stakeholders to deliver solutions that benefit society as a whole. 🔹 However, this intermediary role can sometimes be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it streamlines the process of procurement and ensures that projects are completed efficiently. On the other hand, it can create complexities, bureaucracy, and potential conflicts of interest. 🔹 The reliance on government contracting as a middle man raises questions about transparency, accountability, and fair competition. Are all players in the game operating on a level playing field, or are there underlying power dynamics at play that skew the system in favor of some over others? 🔹 In a constantly evolving landscape, where the line between public and private interests is often blurred, it's crucial to critically examine the role of government contracting in driving economic growth and societal progress. 🔹 As professionals navigating this space, we must strive for integrity, ethics, and value-driven decision-making to ensure that the middle man doesn't become a bottleneck but rather a catalyst for positive change. 🔹 Let's continue the conversation and share our insights on how government contracting as a middle man can be optimized to foster innovation, efficiency, and equitable opportunities for all stakeholders involved. Together, we can shape a future where collaboration and impact take center stage in the world of business and governance. 🔹 What are your thoughts on the role of government contracting as a middle man? Feel free to share your perspectives and experiences in the comments below! Let's engage in a constructive dialogue that enriches our understanding of this complex yet essential aspect of the business landscape.

In our work with First Nations communities and organizations, we often undertake projects related to document management systems. While doing this work, we stumbled upon the concept of OCAP® (Ownership, Control, Access, and Possession) which is a guideline around data governance for First Nations in Canada developed by the First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC). We recognize that many nations across the province and across the country haven't had the opportunity or time to conduct research into data governance, although they recognize the importance it plays in their communities. We thought we would do that research ourselves and help make OCAP®, it's principles and solutions, and the steps nations can take to implement it more accessible. You can read about out findings in our new white paper "6 Ways for First Nations to implement OCAP® from an IT perspective: The need for Ownership, Control, Access, and Possession for First Nations data sovereignty." You can download the white paper from the link in our newest post on the Vivacity Technologies website:
