I do presentations on the 8 Dimensions of Wellness. Environmental Wellness is your sense of safety, comfort, and connection with your physical surroundings is referred to as environmental wellbeing. Respect – respect for all of nature and all of the animals that live in it — is the cornerstone of environmental wellbeing. It does not require you to join a movement or group, but it does urge you to adopt environmental-friendly practises. You will be able to see how your everyday behaviours affect the environment once you become environmentally conscious. Improving this aspect of wellbeing is straightforward and leads to a more balanced existence. #beautifulday #enjoy #nature #freedom #8dimensionsofwellness #environmentalwellness

We're observing a fascinating shift in how people approach sustainable living. 🌱The modern homesteading movement is gaining momentum, driven by a desire for simplicity, self-sufficiency, and environmental stewardship. Did you know? Since 2000, homesteading has been growing rapidly, and almost half of these new homesteaders are 39 or younger. (Homesteaders of America) Growing environmental consciousness, remote work, rising costs of urban living, and the need for more work-life balance are just a few key factors fueling this way of life—but interestingly, homesteading isn't just for rural dwellers. Are you seeing this trend in your community? Learn more about homesteading and the vital role bees can play in our latest blog post: https://lnkd.in/gp7gxsGE #Homesteader #Homesteading #OffGridLiving #DigitalNomads #SustainableLiving #RemoteWork

🌿 Who wouldn't love some greenery on their table? 🌿 Found some-self time for a long lost passion, made a terrarium. Table top greenery isn't just aesthetically pleasing, it brings a series of physical and psychological benefits. Researchers have highlighted the positive effects of indoor plants on our daily lives: Air Quality: Indoor plants naturally purify the air by removing pollutants and releasing oxygen, creating a cleaner and healthier indoor environment. Stress Reduction: Plants can lower stress levels and enhance mood, fostering a more relaxed and productive environment. Pain Tolerance: Believe it or not, interactions with plants have been linked to increased pain tolerance and faster recovery times in medical settings. Mental Functioning: Greenery can boost cognitive function, improving concentration, memory, and creativity, all essential for performance. Moreover, in urban areas, adding greenery can significantly reduce ambient temperatures, noise levels, and further improve air quality. Whether it's a small succulent or a lush dish garden, a touch of green will surely enhance both your productivity and wellbeing! #IndoorPlants #HealthyEnvironment #DIY #terrarium

Happy World Environment Day! Although every day is environment day as far as we’re concerned. Today we want to share with you some of the ways we have set up our home offices: · Work desks are near windows so that we use natural light rather than artificial light, this also helps to reduce electricity usage. · Where possible we use energy efficient appliances and lightbulbs. · We have introduced plants in the office. Not only do they use carbon dioxide, but they also clean the air and bring a bit of cheer. Sam has a couple of large Calathea plants, but other favourites are snake plants (almost impossible to kill) and Aloe vera. · Keep the plants watered. We use rainwater or distilled water, but you can also use the remnants of your herbal tea that’s gone cold! · Take nature breaks, whether that’s staring out of the window at the pouring rain, feeling thankful we’re inside, or taking a stroll on a nicer day. What are your eco-friendly tips? #WorldEnvironmentDay #GreenPlanet #WorkEnvironment #SustainablePractice
