As part of our Further Together community program, Nobian in Frankfurt proudly supported the ‘Tatorte’ (Crime Scenes) campaign. This initiative was organized under the UN’s UNiTE campaign, launched for this year's International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. In Frankfurt, the day was marked with an outdoor campaign ‘Tatorte’ (Crime Scenes), initiated by local support groups. The campaign included impressive images remembering some of the victims, a loud NO to violence against girls and women and, above all, information about where those affected can find help. Further Together is Nobian's community engagement program that enables our employees to get involved in projects in the communities where we work, building strong relationships with our neighbors and stakeholders and making a meaningful local contribution. #FurtherTogether #Community #Care #NoExcuse

Why the 16 Days of Activism Matter The 16 Days of Activism is an annual global campaign aimed at raising awareness and driving action to end gender-based violence (GBV). This period, running from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day), is vital because it unites individuals and organizations in a focused effort to combat violence in all its forms, including intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and harmful traditional practices. Why it matters: Global Awareness: The 16 Days help to shine a spotlight on the widespread issue of GBV, reminding communities that this violence continues to affect millions of women, children, and marginalized groups worldwide. Call for Action: It is not just a time for reflection but a call to action, encouraging people to demand systemic change, support survivors, and hold perpetrators accountable. Education and Advocacy: The campaign provides an opportunity to educate the public on the harmful myths surrounding GBV, expose the systemic factors that allow it to persist, and highlight survivor stories. Community Solidarity: The collective energy of the 16 Days empowers people to stand together, not just in words, but through tangible actions—whether that be donations, volunteering, or engaging in conversations to change attitudes. By participating in this campaign, we contribute to a global movement dedicated to creating a world free from violence, where everyone can live with dignity, respect, and safety. Join the movement. Together, we can amplify the voices of survivors and work toward a future where violence against women is no longer tolerated. #16DaysOfActivism #EndGBV #SupportSurvivors #ActivismForChange #NelsonHouse #HumanRights

Male representation is essential in the MMIW movement because it fosters a sense of shared responsibility and unites communities in the fight against violence. When men advocate for change, it challenges the structures that enable violence and demonstrates that this is not solely a women’s issue—it’s a human issue. Men’s involvement can help break cycles of violence, create safer spaces, and inspire other men to take action. By standing together, men and women can work to dismantle harmful stereotypes, uplift Indigenous voices, and ensure that future generations live in a world where justice and equality prevail. It’s time for all of us to take an active role in the movement. Indigenous Model: @thelittlenativethatcould Maya & llocano To support content like this, please consider a donation of any amount.
