Our latest survey on Canadian grilling habits during BBQ season was featured in Canadian Grocer Some key findings include: - 72% of Canadians have a BBQ at home or access to one. - The vast majority of respondents (87%) have either a gas or propane grill or both. - Over half of Canadians with 54% said rising food prices have influenced what they cook on their BBQ. - 42% of Canadians BBQ multiple times a week in the summer. - Top BBQ foods are hamburgers and hot dogs (37%) followed closely by beef steak (29%). This Earth Day (April 22nd) join the #realburgerofearthday challenge and eat a 100% #grassfed #beef #burger. No special sauce needed–100% grassfed beef comes with its own special sauce formula—#happy #cattle + #healthy #land = #delicious #flavor. But that doesn’t mean you can’t add toppings! The real key to a “perfect” 100% grassfed burger is in the cook - aka the right mix of heat and timing. Depending on the size of your patty, grassfed burgers require a little less intense heat and less time than you would normally cook grain-finished beef. Tips: make sure the beef comes to room temperature before cooking, use a little olive oil, salt and pepper, don’t overcook it. Let it rest a few minutes once you take the patty off of the grill. Enjoy and savor every bite.
