Important update for food labels in the US! The FDA has updated the Nutrition Facts Label to better reflect current scientific information and make it easier for consumers to make informed choices about the foods they eat 📊. Some of the key changes include: Added Sugars - Amounts of added sugars are now listed in grams, right next to total sugars. This will help you make informed decisions about how much added sugar you're consuming 🧮 Daily Values - The FDA has updated the Daily Value (DV) for several nutrients, such as sodium and fiber, to reflect the latest scientific understanding of how much of these nutrients we need per day 🧬 Serving Sizes - Serving sizes are now based on what people typically eat, rather than what they should eat ⚖️ These changes are designed to make it easier for you to understand the nutritional content of the foods you eat.
