Some simple instructions on how to handle change from Dr Joe Dispenza: “I’m not available right now, but thank you for caring enough to call. I am making some changes in my life, please leave a message after the beep…if I do not return your call - you are one of those changes” This ☝️is perfect if you are planning to make changes in the new year (or any other time of the year). The highest value currency you have in life is energy and time. Time management is BS and an illusion as you can’t manage something you have zero control over - the only control you ever have is of yourself and the only thing you can control within time is your energy. Therefore…even if you have time (and apparently it runs in short supply for most of the world’s population) - if you don’t have the energy to use it how you want to use it, it’s a waste of time. And here is where the importance of relationships comes in - they rely on our time and can energise us, can drain us, can be neutral or anything in between. This isn’t about discarding people and dumping relationships but it’s about doing an audit and seeing what roles your relationships play in your life? How do they enrich your life? Or do some drain your energy? And if so - are the dynamics of the draining ones the right ones for where you are in life and where you are going? Or do they need changing? Are your relationships supporting who you are and who you want to become or are they supporting some old, past version of you that is no longer relevant? Relationships are paramount in our human journeys, but not everyone who comes into your life at some point is meant to stay on your path for the rest of your journey. Some paths cross for longer, some for a brief period, some go separate ways for a while and then cross again at different stages of our lives. That’s natural. Holding on to things that don’t work (in most cases for both sides) isn’t - it’s just what you have been conditioned to believe. My regular relationship audit although not easy, it's vital for my energy, boundaries and self care. How often do you reflect on your relationships and connections?
