I created this 3D environment project using Unreal Engine 5 version 5.2, following a tutorial by YouTuber Unreal Sensei and customizing it to fit my needs. It was an enriching learning experience, marking my first foray into crafting an entire 3D environment in Unreal Engine. Leveraging assets from Quixel Bridge, I delved into the basics, with plans to create my own assets in the future. Special thanks to YouTuber William Faucher for invaluable guidance on post-production and lighting, utilizing plugins like Ultra Dynamic Sky and EasyFog. After completing the project, I rendered the output via Movie Render Queue in UE5 and applied color grading to landscapes in DaVinci Resolve, while editing the video in Adobe Premiere Pro. This journey has expanded my knowledge of Unreal Engine, environment design, and other software tools. Excited about upcoming projects, I look forward to sharing updates on captivating new environments as I continue to explore and create. So I decided to challenge myself with a speed-modeling project using Unreal Engine 5. My goal was to see how fast and efficient I could be with the engine's powerful modeling tools and Quixel Bridge's rich library. The result is this scene, a real-time render of an old house that has been abandoned for years, slowly consumed by the greenery around it. I used Quixel Bridge to add realistic textures, decals, foliage, and materials that enhance the contrast the environment. The modeling mode in Unreal Engine is really great, but for now, I'll stick to using 3D software for my assets. #ue5 #quixel #environmentart #abandonedHouse #unrealengine5 #3dartist

Personal project with Unreal Engine 5 and Nanite&Lumen. Still can’t believe you can render a 30 seconds shot at 4k resolution in under one hour.. This would have taken probably a week to render 10 years ago. There’s still a lot to improve in terms of render quality, compared to classical 3D approach, but this plays in real-time in UE5, 40fps, while in Max or Maya it would freeze my machine. #ue5 #3d #environment #realtime #unrealengine #conceptart
