If you’re already behind your 2024 goals on Amazon, use this easy framework to get back on track Take two minutes today and look at your business reports or retail analytics and do the following: Sort by revenue (descending) for the last year and look at the top 10% and top 20% on the list Then compare those totals to the remaining 80% or 90% 99% of the brands that engage in this exercise will find the revenue on the top 10% or top 20% will either be the same as the remaining 80% or 90% or even greater This will hold true whether you are doing $100,000/month in revenue or $10,000,0000+/month That means you should be prioritizing optimizing the top 10% or 20% of your catalog Are your listing images, infographics, and copy/seo fully optimized for those products? If so, you aren't finished! Start making tweaks and running split tests Also, start strategically increasing organic rank by identifying keywords where you are on page 2 or the bottom of page 1 and leverage top-of-search campaigns to increase organic rank on those keywords And more To be clear, I’m not advocating for ignoring the bottom 80% or 90% Rather, I’m saying those products typically shouldn’t be the priority Interested to hear what you find when you do the exercise above! #amazonvendor #amazonsellers #amazonadvertising

We’ve been getting a ton of comments and messages about how we rocketed to number one on Amazon's bestseller list (especially given we have significantly fewer reviews than some of our competitors) It's a great question and one we're excited to dive into. The secret? It's all about a meticulous, behind-the-scenes process that we've been perfecting over time. This isn't about getting lucky; it's about a strategic, systematic approach that we've developed to not only capture attention but to convert that attention into sales And, ultimately, that top spot on Amazon. We've navigated around the usual paths—like Amazon ads, which weren't an option for us due to the nature of our product. Instead, we've leveraged other platforms, particularly Meta, to drive our traffic. Boosting our ad spend there and elsewhere has been key, alongside constantly testing and refining our marketing strategies. When Potential Clients Talk About Their Brands They Come Alive and I Get It 😀 Working with many amazon brands I speak to a lot of brand owners. The pattern goes like this 1) I take a prior look at the brand on amazon - It may look good but often I am quite underwhelemed 😴 2) I have a call with the brand owner, they talk me through their brand. I see: 😍 Their passion 😍 Their selling points and USP 😍 Why their brand is actually really cool 😍 Their journey to building it and reasoning behind building it I GET IT 💡 Now I am excited to work with them and can see how they can compete I think as amazon marketers maybe the most key part and the hardest is getting what I get in these calls into the amazon listing. Telling their story and explaining their product, just as athe brand owner did with me. I would say 99.9% of products on amazon do not effectively do this part very well. A+ and thumbnails are often just considered tick boxes to sell benefits. This pattern above is a weekly occurrence for me and the responsibility we have as marketers is to tell brand owners stories as if they were talking themselves on amazon. I won't say that I consider myself an expert at this yet or my team. I definitely consider us as experts in amazon marketing from A-Z but a full service agency like mine will struggle to tell the story as well as a specialist branding company where that is all they do such as Daniela Anavitarte Bolzmann ⚡Whose content I have been enjoying lately. 💪 That said we are working on it! You can get this brand messaging across in 💚 The brand story module 💚 The thumbnail imagery 💚 Brand Store 💚 A+ content 💚 Description and bullets It is an art that increases conversions and by testing it and retesting you can get some outstanding results for clients without extra ad spend.
