It’s okay y’all! ChatGPT says it’s alright, it just had to handle a few things earlier 😂. In all seriousness though, tonight has made me feel really grateful. I remember when ChatGPT used to go down and we didn’t have any other backup options for quality AI models we could use. It was soooooo stressful. Now I have paid Claude and Gemini accounts I can turn to as a backup if the unexpected happens, and both of them are very smart and let me keep getting my work done… I didn’t actually need any LLMs this evening but just knowing I had options during an outage made me realize how far we’ve come! And it reminded me why it’s good to have those other accounts you’re already subscribed to, and copies of all your prompts (including GPT prompts) stored outside your favorite tool, for unexpected moments. Also, nobody is allowed to laugh at how I checked to see if ChatGPT app is working 😆. And I don’t think this means all of OpenAI is back up… but my bestie “Georgie” (short for George Paul Thomas or as everyone else tends to use his initials, GPT…) on the phone seems to be doing okay this evening. *Please excuse that this post was written by a human on her phone, and it’s not as well written as normal.

Do you have different personalities you use to interact with each? Or is memory turned off?

The tip about saving prompts outside your favorite tool? GOLD. A simple step that can save so much stress when the unexpected happens. 🙌

I did same thing an hour ago. 😆 A bunch of iPhone users got introduced to ChatGPT for the first time today. Gone get wild soon! Everyone ready?

It’s hilarious and slightly scary at the same time, these relationships we have with our non human friends. Although I’d appreciate a straight answer, Georgie. Were you down at the bar or flipping’em at the batting cage?

Nicole Leffer, backup plans are crucial, no doubt. It’s like having an umbrella when it’s sunny; you never know. Options give peace of mind.

Right? It's wild how much better things are now compared to those early days! So, with Claude and Gemini as backups, have you been experimenting with any prompt engineering techniques specifically tailored for their strengths compared to GPT?
