The problem is that the replacement for the Gabriel, the Falcon 8X Archange, will not enter service until 2028. This creates a major capability gap for intelligence gathering, essential for independent situation assessment. As the war in Ukraine underscores the importance of such intelligence and electronic warfare in high-intensity conflicts, the French Air and Space Force is forced to lease a Swedish electronic warfare aircraft. The culprit: the incompetence of our leaders who have sacrificed our armed forces on the altar of happy globalization and "Maastricht criteria". #faceup

Named the “Emperor on the battlefield”, Caesar offers unparalleled mobility, fire capabilities and robustness, short training requirements and a wide array of aspects that make it the “nightmare of Russian gunners”. This article looks in detail at some of the key learnings, and shares statistics and figures on how Caesar performs versus all the current competition engaged in Ukraine’s armed forces. Thank you Fabrice Wolf for giving us an opportunity to correct some ideas out there that portray the Caesar negatively. Now that Estonia and Lithuania are gunning for it, we really hope Latvia can understand this is the best choice, and that a simple yet extremely effective cannon can be manned with conscripts and reservists and there is no fatality in having a “smaller professional army”.
