From Chaos To Clarity: Finding My Thesis Motivation 💡 💡 💡 It's been a while since my last LinkedIn post! Since February, I've been tackling my graduation semester and, honestly, I underestimated the thesis challenge. Initially, I thought "5 months? Easy!" 😅. There was definitely a moment (or two) of 'what have I gotten myself into?!' to realize that internal motivation is KEY to writing a strong thesis. I'm excited to be finalizing my research on a fascinating topic: Enhancing intrinsic motivation within an organization through the lens of Self-Determination Theory. Diving into research with the Center for Self-Determination Theory (CSDT) has been eye-opening. A huge shout-out to Yoy Bergs and Hugo M. for their incredible support and guidance! I'm looking forward to see where this research leads and will definitely keep you updated on my progress. Interested in my progress? Let's connect! Feel free to send me an invite and start a conversation. #thesis #Bachelor #SelfDeterminationTheory #BUAS #intrinsic #motivation

If a student does research in the forest does it make a sound? We wrapped up our Summer ACRE projects this afternoon with our final campus presentations. The students, faculty, and projects were all great! Which is why it’s so important for students to practice presenting their research. So everyone else knows how great they are. Which is why Kim Justeson and I crafted the ACRE experience to consist of three different types of presentations. At the beginning of the summer, students did an elevator pitch. Learning how to concisely convey complex ideas — and why you’re passionate about them — is vitally important. During the course of the summer, each student then did a formal 15-minute academic conference style presentation. They delved more deeply into their research, balancing what to say with how to say it (Thanks THR101!). Then today they created an academic poster and did a poster-style presentation. One summer. Three presentations. So, when Albright students do research in the forest (literally at Nolde Forest or metaphorically), they absolutely make themselves heard. #AlbrightCollege #UndergraduateResearch

Excited about the endless journey of research! My passion for biology led me into research labs, then on to the IB learning style. Currently, bringing life to inquiry units with a global perspective in CAIE. Working with young learners in class, I see their curiosity sparked by visible thinking routines. #ResearchPassion #GlobalEducation #InquiryBasedLearning #CAIE
