Interesting to see the European Commission formally adopt the European Innovation Council's €1.4 billion investment programme. The funding, part of Horizon Europe, targets deep tech and new strategic technologies. The work programme outlines four main funding streams. The support is designed to help bridge critical funding gaps in R&D, support scale-ups and build a stronger, more resilient innovation system in Europe. Interesting to see the focus on innovation in green transport and future mobility, which provide plenty of opportunities for collaboration with bodies like the Global Centre Of Rail Excellence and its partners.
