Next week (Thursday 26/9) I'll once again be haunting the Göteborg React Meetup with silly ideas and dark thoughts—more specifically, I'll be there presenting "Entropy, Rot, and Decay in IT and Software". You'll learn how entropy is a quite tangible, handy concept to help understand why organizations deteriorate and why technology orgs specifically rot, and eventually, decay into obsolescence. Like in the "whisper game", meaning breaks down when there are too many connections—big organizations struggle to be relevant, fast, and innovative: But they could be! If you ever thought the universe is against you, I will explain that "yes, it is". But that's OK, as you will also learn.
