Existing homes sales data now in for April 2024. Month over month and year over year declines. Finally, this freight train of a market is taking a breather. Pending sales have also decreased nationally 7.7% in April from what I believe is due to interest rates that aren't doing us any favors. The Chief Economist of National Association of Realtors Lawrence Yun stated back in January that the worst of the housing market is behind us.
