Supporting innovation for inclusion! We are proud to share that we are partnering with Inclusive Brains, a startup leveraging artificial intelligence to develop cutting-edge assistive solutions. Together we want to accelerate the development of Prometheus, an innovative brain-computer interface (BCI) that can use a range of neurophysiological data (including brainwaves, heartbeats, and facial expressions) for mental commands. The goal of Prometheus is to help people who can no longer use their hands or speak to operate connected objects and navigate digital environments, thus giving them more autonomy or the ability to communicate again and broadening their access to education and to the workforce. Prometheus is already advanced, and can be used to control an exoskeleton arm with one’s mind. We will bring financial, strategic and logistical support to address Prometheus’ R&D and material needs by acquiring physiological sensors and 2 exoskeleton arms. These equipment will then be donated to a non-profit organization supporting people with paralysis. We will also support Inclusive Brains in making the Prometheus AI model open source so everyone else involved in advancing inclusion can benefit from our partnership. Inclusion is one of our core values, and we believe in investing in innovation that supports this. Prometheus is the first step of a long journey, and many other concrete use cases are envisaged with Inclusive Brains. Attended a fantastic Out in Tech event focused on #genai 's role in #uiux inspired by how GenAI can act as a collaborative partner in design, a notion emphasized by Darwin Mastin, PhD. I've applied these insights in my work, blending creativity with GenAI's capabilities. For a closer look, visit my project below! Looking to connect with peers interested in GenAI advancements 😄

Through our AI Foundation Model Access Initiative, IST has begun to study the risks and opportunities associated with degrees of access to AI technologies. Today, we are excited to announce new philanthropic support for our efforts from The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation. Moving forward, IST will engage with the broader AI community, soliciting feedback through events and discussions. These will help to inform our future efforts, including the identification of voluntary versus regulatory approaches, technical mechanisms and industry frameworks, and more. https://lnkd.in/gaHS_BXe

💡Have you ever wondered what #philanthropy has to do with #AI and vice versa? Having spent the last two days diving into the discussions at the Artificial Intelligence and Philanthropy Conference in Geneva, hosted by the Centre en philanthropie (GCP)- UNIGE, I can say with confidence that there's a lot! And much more to explore! 🚀 Where I already see great potential for AI in philanthropy is in supporting impact measurement, as demonstrated in our paper „Measuring Meaningful Change: AI-Enhanced Impact Measurement in Philanthropy“ co-authored with my colleagues at Fondazione AIS Simone Bartalucci, Sina Sauer, and Volker Then. 📝 🏆 My personal highlight of the conference was definitely being awarded the prestigious Fondation Lombard Odier Prize for Academic Excellence in Philanthropy in the AI for Philanthropy category for this paper. What an honour and a great recognition of our work! I can't wait for our paper to be published as a chapter in the forthcoming Routledge Handbook on AI & Philanthropy. 📖 ✨ #AI #philanthropy #impactmeasurement #FondazioneAIS

When we launched the ADIR Challenge Foundation, we knew innovation was essential in combating antisemitism and hate. Over the past year, our belief has been reaffirmed as we’ve welcomed remarkable teams with forward-thinking solutions. We’ve had the privilege to incubate some of these ideas, offering grants to those whose projects demonstrated potential for impactful change. Beyond funding, we’ve created a supportive ecosystem, introducing founders to one another, forming clusters of technology-driven solutions, and providing over 100 hours of startup mentoring to both for-profit and nonprofit teams—all working toward immediate and long-lasting impact wherever Jewish communities seek change. Recognizing the potential for even broader influence, we recently decided to bring more of Israel’s startup DNA to U.S. college campuses. We are thrilled to launch a first-of-its-kind hybrid entrepreneurship course, connecting Israeli students at the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) with students from American colleges. Thanks to our dedicated partners, the ADIR Challenge Foundation is awarding grants to 12 U.S. college students to join this program. Led by top experts, the course focuses on leveraging innovation to combat antisemitism. We’re excited to welcome our inaugural class in just a few weeks and are still accepting applications for this cohort and future sessions. More details are available through the link below. Hopelessness isn’t an action plan—let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work. Link here: https://lnkd.in/eqWa5269 Holon Institute of Technology
