As Generative AI becomes increasingly integrated into business processes, the importance of AI safety and ethical use cannot be overstated... Without proper safeguards, risks like content safety violations and prompt injection attacks can cause Generative AI systems to generate harmful, inappropriate, or biased content, potentially leading to reputational damage, loss of trust, or even user harm. Neudesic has recognized these risks and introduces Layer Enhanced Classification (LEC) – our novel approach to AI safety classification. Developed by our AI researchers —Mason Sawtell, Tula Masterman, Sandi Besen, and Jim Brown, and our Responsible AI lead Erin Sanders—LEC outperforms existing solutions in content safety and prompt injection classification.
