Lately I keep reading and listening to how bad the wine business is and how worse it will get. At Wine Affairs we had a tremendous year full of great results and achievements. I guess I was lucky enough to carefully choose my partners. As you can see here we welcome our new partner for NY NJ CT Sweet Cheeks winery from Oregon. A boutique winery with amazing Pinot noir, Dry riesling, Sauvignon blanc. In the picture my friend Tony Pullano director of sales for Wine Affairs and owner of Village wine and spirit in Millbrook NY Carl. Cheers 🥂

How amateurs explore the Urban Winery Experience: 🍷🍇 They often visit traditional wineries outside the city. They might miss out on the convenience of urban tasting rooms. They may not know about online shops for easy access to diverse wines. How the pros do it: 🌟🍷 They enjoy the convenience of an urban winery with accessible tasting rooms. What is all the fuss about Sine Qua Non? By 2008, 14 years after establishing as a winery, 7 of their wines had earned 100 points from Robert Parker Wine Advocate. Founded by Manfred Krankl, the Californian winery produces unique vintages in extremely small quantities. Each new vintage has a new name, a new label and often a new bottle shape. Some of my favourite names: 🐠 Piranha Waterdance 🧠 The 17th Nail In My Cranium 👢 Boots, Pasties, Scanty Panties, and A Ten Gallon Hat (pictured) Despite their high alcohol content, contrary to typical wine theory, they are known to age extremely well and are said to become spectacular after 12-20 ageing. 🍇 I’m still waiting on WineFi 🍷 to buy the team a bottle so we can find out ourselves. You’d think they’d have a perfect investment profile. Unique wines, cult following, highly rated, known for ageing well and grown in a recognised investment-grade wine region.

Why Domaine Evremond is about to be your new favourite English sparkling wine As the vineyards mature and the winery finds its rhythm, one can only imagine how future vintages will unfold. Although nearly seven and a half years have passed since the first vines were planted on an unseasonably cool day by the likes of your correspondent, the actual wines, born of friendship and ambition, are just beginning their journey. #FineWine #LuxuryWines #WineConnoisseur https://lnkd.in/eXErsDYS

Central Coast wineries are the third most-active participants in the winery direct-to-consumer shipment channel after Napa and Sonoma county wineries. Despite a slight decline in shipment activity over the past year, they still generated $410.5 million in sales from 714,172 cases. Red blends, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon were the top three wines shipped, comprising 56% of the total value and 48% of the volume.
