This is how and why most people are on multiple medications. Managing something with a medication doesn't solve the problem unless you take that med for a short period of time to take care of the cause. Other than mold or fungus very very few disease pathogens can be vectored via veggies and only under very unusual conditions for bugs won't die from oxygen and light/cosmic radiation .SO keep playing food lottery with animal based diets, eventually it is not a winning ticket. Sure that Covid was not in the food as a micoplasmid ? They'd tell us right ?

I'm not going to comment on every aspect of this, but I've tried many therapies before medication for chronic back pain. I know what I can have adjusted in my body to help my pain as opposed to putting me in more pain. I wish my psychiatrist educated me on the dangers of antipsychotics use as adjuctive therapy for depression. I probably wouldn't be in as much pain or spasm as much due to Tardive Dyskinesea. As an add-on, I wish doctors would offer more collaboration via zoom. Especially someone who has to utilize multiple pharmacies for retail, compounds and specialty meds. This leaves the opportunity for things to fall through the cracks and ultimately, I'm the one paying the price. There is also a dash of privilege in the post as if some of us chose to be chronically ill. So humor aside, this is actually a great stakeholder management insight, and something I was just discussing with a smart junior researcher today - it's really tempting to want to show all your work up front, but please resist the urge. You have two goals in a debrief: 1) Get the key findings across to the stakeholders who have already bought into your findings and just want action items to rally around. 2) Convince skeptical stakeholders that they should believe that you are correct, and they should take your conclusions seriously. I often recommend calibrating your presentation to be one level of abstraction ABOVE the level you're prepared to drill down to in a meeting - most of your stakeholders don't need the detail, they just want the action items. And as for the skeptics? One of the most powerful things that happens in a presentation is when someone asks "well, how do you know that? What if it's X instead?" and then you jump down to the appendix where you've got the graph that shows exactly the answer to that, ostentatiously skipping past all the OTHER slides that you didn't show. It's a great (but not condescending or cruel) flex, and it makes everyone feel better about working with you.
